    CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission to 17 of the coveted National Law Schools. The following national law universities (NLUs) consider CLAT scores for admissions to their under graduate program:

  • Eligibility

    To appear in CLAT 2017, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses are different as given below:


    For UG Programmes:


    Candidate has to qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum 45% marks (in case of Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category).

    Appearing candidates of Class 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam.

    At the time of admission, the candidates would have to produce an evidence of their passing qualifying examination.

    There is no upper age limit to appear in CLAT 2017.

  • Test Duration & Pattern

    Exam Duration– You will be allotted two hours’ time duration to attempt the questions of the online paper.

  • Exam Format

    Total Marks: 200
    Number of Questions: 200
    Duration: 2 hours
    Marking: There is system of negative marking and for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks will be deducted.

  • How to Apply

    Go to the official website in order to apply for CLAT 2017.

    Except online registration, candidate can not apply via any other application mode.


    Application Fee –

    Candidate who belong from general category they need to pay Rs. 4000/-

    Candidate who belong from reserved category they need to pay Rs. 3500/-

    Payment must be done via online mode by using net banking or debit card or credit card.
