NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is a national-level
scholarship program in India. It is considered as the most prestigious and the most difficult examination at high school level in the country.
The objective of NTSE is to identify and recognize students
with high intellect and academic talent and help them for higher studies by
providing scholarship at different stages.
The NTSE Examination is conducted for students studying in Class
The NTSE Exam will be conducted in two stages. Stage 1 & Stage 2. Here we provide both the stages eligibility criteria
Stage 1 :
- The Candidate must be an Indian.
- The Candidates must to pass 10th class.
- The Candidates should have at least 60% marks in the 9th class.
- Their is a relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates with 5% marks
Stage 2 :
Students who will get 80% marks in the state level exam will eligible for the Stage 2 exam.
Around 4000 students will shortlisted for the National Level NTSE accurse the Country.
Test Duration & Pattern
For the 1st Level Exam :
The first level exam is divided in two parts that is 1st and 2nd.
Part 1 consists Mental Ability Test (MAT) which is consist of reasoning and logical based Question
Part 2 consists scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) which is consist of Language Test
For 2nd level Exam :
Second Level Exam of NTSE is divided in Four Parts. Each part divided in 25 marks.
SAT consist of 100 Question related to Math’s, Science, and Social Studies etc.
The NTSE examination is conducted in two stages. For both the stages, the examination is divided into two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Each test paper consists of objective-type questions and are held in paper-pen mode. Every correct answer is awarded 1 mark, thus making the total marks of a test equal to the total number of questions. There is no negative marking in Stage-I paper, however, in the Stage-II, one-third of the marks allotted to a question is deducted for each wrong answer marked in the answer sheet.
